Accolade for Joya – a Swiss success story

The Swiss company Joya Schuhe has received an impressive accolade in Germany for its comfortable “functional shoes”. According to a representative survey by the German specialist magazine “Markt Intern”, some 2,600 shoe retailers consider Joya shoes the most comfortable in Germany. This puts Joya in first place, in front of traditional brands such as Ganter, FinnComfort, Mephisto, MBT, Waldläufer and others.

The company, which started out on a small scale in 2008, has developed continually over recent years, gaining a great deal of respect among retailers and customers. The Joya co-founder Claudio Minder expressed his thanks for the distinction: “We are delighted about this special honour. It confirms that the path we have chosen is well appreciated. We would like to thank our partners and customers most warmly. However, the company sees this accolade as a great challenge, as there is a great deal more potential in Joya and we would like to develop our service even further.”

Investment in future technologies

The young company invests a lot in developing new sole technologies. Its team of roughly 20 specialists works in the research department headed by Karl, the inventor of Joya himself. Of the much-lauded Joya shoe, Karl Müller said: “People appreciate the benefits of the materials we use, the special shoe construction and the overall concept. The considerable positive feedback from our customers shows that they value and respond positively to our product’s effect.”

Gold for a functional shoe

Joya takes home gold in product quality, fit, customer care, timely delivery and sales policy. The winning shoes are especially well suited to people looking for comfortable every-day shoes, and leading medical practitioners and specialists also recommend them for people with back, joint and foot problems.
